Has anything ever NOT gone wrong, more like. Equipment not working, equipment broken, results not making sense, computers not talking to other computers, leaks, cracks. But we always figure it out in the end 🙂

      Hey Ocean
Like Nathan, things go wrong with my experiments all the time! When you are doing research it’s unavoidable, because you are trying to figure out new things all the time. Sometimes when things go wrong it can kind of be a good thing, since you have to go back and revise the experiments to make them simpler which is always good. Some of my biggest breakthroughs came from experiments that went wrong!

      Hi Ocean,

All the time! Once I was running a trial in the chocolate factory to test a new product on one of our lines.

I had gotten the mould from my manager but none of us had checked the height of it – we just assumed it was the same. When I placed it on the lime, after a minute a heard a merciful screeching sound. The mould had gotten stuck in our turnover mechanism and jammed the gears that move the moulds along the line. Everyone just stopped and looked at me!

I was very embarrassed!! We fixed it and redid it properly and everything was fine. They people on the line poked fun at me for ages though! They were great fun
