The drug goes through clinical trials. This means that it is given to patients who may be out of other options and they are willing to take a risk. Before it even gets this far there is years if testing to make sure it won’t harm anyone.

Patients are given a placebo, which is a pretend medicine with no healing powers, or the trial medicine. If the patients on the trial medicine improve a lot more than the placebo, you’re onto a winner!

Once approved, the medicine we manufacture is tested multiple times for lots of different things to make sure it is 100% pure and safe. Every single vial is inspected before it is shipped out to doctors and hospitals for use.
