      Hey again Matt!
That’s a great question. I think this competition has definitely made me more aware of how broad engineering is. I work with people who do the same things as me, so I’m in a bit of a bubble. It’s nice to listen to the other engineers and see how interesting there jobs are. Another great thing about this competition is that it makes you really think about your work and why you chose it. I never really asked myself before why I picked engineering, but some students asked that question so had to put a lot of thought into it.

      Hi Matt,

It has really opened my eyes to what other engineers do! Chemical engineers tend to bunch together so you never get a grasp of what other people are doing. It’s also really interesting to see the path some of the older engineers have taken. I’m only starting my career so who knows where it will take me!

      Matt

It has been great. It has given me a very positive energy which surprises me. I love the live chats and after the half hour it takes me a while to come down and refocus on the much slower pace of work. I don’t have any dealings with teenagers and Ive forgotten how great and interesting they are.
