It was really fun! You were given a lot of freedom to make changes to the process, as long as you could back up your ideas with some evidence!

In the summer it was very warm. The chocolate flows through pipes into tanks all over the factory at a temperature of 45 degrees. That meant you were very sweaty! And you had to wear protective clothing so you couldn’t take off any layers!

The factory I worked in was one of the biggest in the world. It took 15 minutes to walk from the changing rooms to my office, all inside the factory! That’s how I managed to stay slim while I was working thee I think! It was very fast paced. You produce a lot of chocolate, about 60 tonnes a day per line and I had 3 lines. That’s 180 tonnes every 24 hours!

And of course, I got to eat lots and lots of chocolate.
